Lauri Taylor: Marketing Guru / Analytics Master
Lauri started her business career working in a variety of industries from food manufacturing to video production and facilities management. Always on the operations side of things, Lauri learned the ins and outs of making procedures more efficient and keeping costs down. With an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA in Marketing from Pepperdine University she developed a growing passion for online marketing. After a few years of consulting and working with an event production company Lauri earned a certificate in Analytics and became more involved with website development. As a Google Certified Partner for all 3 of Google’s focus areas, Lauri spends 80% of her day managing AdWords accounts and helping clients grow their businesses.
Donna Simoneau: Account Manager / Organizer in Chief
Donna comes to Reaction Concepts with a long history of Project Management. Her past work history includes managing large scale theme park installations for places like Disney, Warner Bros., LACMA, The Seattle Science Center and many more! Along with website development and online marketing Donna wears many hats at Reaction Concepts; she keeps our team and all of our projects on track and on time. Her checklists are always longer than the rest of ours, but she makes sure the job gets done.
Karen Wilkens: Account Manager / Director of Follow Through
Karen is an Emmy Award Nominated Television Director whose strength has always been managing people. Karen started working in Soap Operas in New York and worked her way up from a Production Assistant to full time Director. Not wanting to get stuck in one genre, Karen has also directed short films, and worked as a stage manager on The Wanda Sykes Show, at The NFL Network and Access Hollywood. She has been with Reaction Concepts since its inception, and takes the nickname “Task Manager” to new heights, making sure that projects are completed in a timely manner and that clients know what is expected of them all along the way.
Sue Bowen: Designer / Office Comedian
Along with her witty sense of humor Sue brings a creative and fun balance to the Reaction Concepts Team. Her experiences in Website Design, Branding, and Print, have proven to be invaluable assets to the team as well as to our clients! Whether it’s a logo or a full website, Sue is always able to “get” the client’s vision, even when the client doesn’t quite know what their vision is!
Ryan Encinas: Designer
Ryan is a Los Angeles based graphic designer specializing in brand identity. Getting his start in 1996, Ryan has worked with multiple clients in the trade, retail, commercial and non-profit markets. Ryan combined his experience in brand identity and conceptual design with his knowledge of the print and multimedia industries to form Chrome Cannon Studio in 2000.
Laurel Scherer: Lead Developer / Magical Wizard
Laurel’s areas of expertise include website design/development, web content management, user training/support, product testing, graphic design, database management, project management, UI analysis, and search engine optimization. She has extensive web development experience with (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, PHP, WHM, phpMyAdmin, mySQL, WordPress, Joomla!, Magento eCommerce, Thesis Framework, Genesis Framework, Woo Framework, and Google Apps. She also has a good working knowledge of Flash, SQL Server, ASP, DotNetNuke, Drupal, & Prestashop.
